At Luminex, everything is designed to aggregate, support and simplify projects integrating sound, lighting, video and intercom — in short, everything that passes through the network nowadays.
Entirely manufactured in-house, the products are designed and engineered by engineers and technicians specializing in AV environments for dedicated applications. They support all common network protocols, are tested under demanding conditions and guarantee reliable, secure and robust performance, designed from the ground up for entertainment and broadcast applications.
The product range covers all situations, from dedicated solutions for rental and touring to products designed for permanent installations. All switch models are available with or without PoE ports. PoE versions allow powering certain devices such as powered speakers or PTZ cameras directly via the network cable.

Entirely developed by Luminex, the free multi-platform Araneo software is a network planning and configuration tool as well as a real-time monitoring tool that provides a complete visual overview of a Luminex network infrastructure, showing devices, their connections, data flow and potential issues in a simple, clear and graphical manner.

Araneo provides direct access to essential information and gives AV professionals an overview without requiring advanced networking knowledge. Regardless of the complexity of your converged network, you maintain control over all parameters, your settings and your entire network infrastructure at a glance and in real time.
Araneo offers an Online Mode, a quick access Offline Mode for preparing and planning projects, and a Health Check function.
The use of the online and offline modes of the software is free and accessible to all. Araneo software can be downloaded for free.
The Health Check mode requires a yearly fee, with the first year free for any new Luminex product purchase.

Araneo Software – Health Check
The Health Check function gives you a true health assessment of your network to keep it consistent, stable and efficient, with surgical precision. It is a unique network status verification feature. Several critical parameters such as VLAN IDs, group names, firmware versions, SFP and Fiber connection status, etc., are automatically checked and reported to ensure that all these parameters across all individual switches on the network are consistent with each other. This helps you prevent potential problems and gives you the ability to make adjustments before they cause any disruption.
Once connected, Araneo checks the status and configuration of each switch against the rest of the network infrastructure and presents its findings through a comprehensive, color-coded and interactive health report. Its regular use provides a complete picture of your network’s health: think of it as an annual check-up for your setup.
