These hybrid fixtures combine tungsten and HMI technologies to offer cinematographers unprecedented flexibility and optimised light performance, meeting the demanding needs of film sets.

Hybrid technology and parallel beam: an asset for cinematographers

The Power Beam fixtures allow switching between two types of interchangeable lamps:

  • HMI lamps (Daylight – 5600 K)
  • Tungsten lamps (3200 K)

Thanks to this hybrid design, cinematographers can adapt their lighting in an instant, without having to multiply light sources on set.

One of the great strengths of the Power Beam range lies in its parallel beam optics. Unlike conventional Fresnel spotlights, whose light output decreases significantly with distance, the Power Beam projects a concentrated, homogeneous beam that maintains its intensity over long throws. This makes it an ideal tool for exterior shoots or large sets where powerful long-distance projection is required.

A complete range for every need

The Power Beam range includes several models, each designed to meet specific lighting requirements:

  • Power Beam 1200: available in HMI (1200 W) and tungsten (2000 W) versions. Compact and versatile, it is ideal for medium-scale interior and exterior shoots.
  • Power Beam 2500: available in HMI (2500 W) and tungsten (5000 W) versions. A step up in power for large sets and demanding outdoor conditions.
  • Power Beam 4000: available in HMI (4000 W) and tungsten (10000 W) versions. The most powerful in the range, designed for feature film sets and large-scale productions requiring maximum light intensity.
