The UCO has just released a detailed video presenting the results of its Zeiss lens comparative tests. Running 55 minutes, it follows the workshop organized last October by the UCO Transmission group at RVZ’s facilities.

The video offers an in-depth visual analysis of the different Zeiss lens series, in both Super 35 and Full Frame formats. The tests cover the 25mm and 85mm focal lengths (or equivalent) of each series, examined at different apertures:
- 00:00:00 – Introduction
- 00:00:13 – Full Frame 25mm lens tests
- 00:14:31 – Full Frame 85mm lens tests
- 00:26:22 – Super 35 25mm lens tests on Full Frame sensor
- 00:41:39 – Super 35 75/85mm lens tests on Full Frame sensor
- 01:54:39 – Equipment presentation and credits
Methodology
The tests were conducted with a Sony Venice 2 camera in RAW X-OCN LT 8K. Only the exposure was adjusted to harmonize the shots, thus preserving the colorimetric characteristics specific to each lens. White balance was set to 3200K.
This video is a valuable tool for imaging professionals, offering a detailed visual comparison of the performance of different Zeiss lens series under real shooting conditions.
