The world of filmmaking, whether for cinema, commercials, music videos, or any other audiovisual project, is a fascinating universe, constantly evolving and full of challenges.

Having grown up within Loca Images, the company founded by my father, Mr. Tass, I witnessed the transformations of this profession long before officially taking up my position in 1994. It’s safe to say that some of you probably watched me grow up, as I was always underfoot!
I remember a time when the weight of cameras and battery belts was a real burden. The job of camera operator was almost exclusively male, and even for the most robust, aches and pains related to the workload were commonplace.

Today, things have changed. Thanks to technological advancements and a greater awareness of the importance of operator well-being, carrying and stabilization tools adapted to all body types are now available. These essential tools for handling a handheld camera have become a cornerstone of ensuring the comfort and safety of professionals, regardless of the type of shoot. In my current role as head of Loca Images, I strive to offer carrying and stabilization solutions that meet these critical needs.
The diversification of operator profiles, and in particular the arrival of more women in the profession, makes these tools more indispensable than ever. They even allow a pregnant woman to participate in a shoot, demonstrating the incredible progress in terms of inclusivity and adaptability in our industry.

However, while smaller sizes are offered in many catalogs, it has been necessary to fight with some manufacturers to ensure that these tools are truly suitable and available to everyone. A poorly fitted tool is not only ineffective; it can also be dangerous. This is why it is crucial to have customized solutions.
Our commitment to the well-being of film professionals is also part of our Corporate Social Responsibility policy. We are proud to have achieved EcoVadis Platinum status, recognizing our commitment to sustainable and ethical practices. From my earliest memories at Loca Images to my current position, I have witnessed our industry evolve and adapt. As a woman leading a rental equipment company, I am happy to contribute to a safer, more comfortable, and more inclusive filming environment.
Protecting your back and joints is not just a necessity, it’s a top priority, and I am committed to providing the best tools to achieve this. Together with the team, we have selected the following products, which have been available for rent for some time now, and we remain open to suggestions and are ready to discuss and tailor our services to best meet individual needs.
