The visual engineering studio Spline, Provence Studios and its subsidiary La Planète Rouge are joining forces to offer motion control services and complement technical expertise in visual effects creation in the South of France. This new branch aims to support regional productions and build connections around audiovisual innovation.
Serving local audiovisual innovation
Since 2018, Spline has been advising producers and directors on the best technical solutions for creating effects sequences. In 2024, Spline opened a branch near Marseille to serve the South of France region.
“We wanted to make our services more accessible to producers, directors and technicians in the PACA region. Our expertise is a technical and creative asset that we wanted to offer within a region as active in the audiovisual sector as the South of France,” explains Jérémy Fraysse, founder of Spline.
Spline’s collaboration with Provence Studios aims to bring together complementary skills: Spline contributes its expertise in motion control, camera tracking and on-set visual effects, while Provence Studios and La Planète Rouge provide their knowledge of the regional production landscape, their studio facilities and their technical equipment fleet.
A unique technical offering
Tessa, the most compact motion control robot in the world, is now available on the Provence Studios lot in La Ciotat. This proximity allows production teams to integrate motion control sequences into their shoots without the logistical constraints usually associated with this type of equipment.
Spline is a French visual engineering studio that has been supporting the audiovisual and advertising industries since 2018 in creating effects sequences, combining motion control and markerless camera tracking.
