To keep pace with the evolving trend of reflected light, we partnered with Maluna in April 2024 to host a product demonstration that aligned with this approach. It provided an opportunity to explore different, more practical questions about the use of these light-reflecting mirrors.

Jeoffrey Chatellier, chief electrician, generously shared his experience with the Lightbridge range and introduced us to the latest accessory: the Snapbridge.

This product is the result of feedback from our teams. Often, reflection is most effective when combining multiple beams to add complexity to the source and achieve an organic effect. We particularly appreciate the enveloping quality of diffuse reflection, but we also like to work with a hotspot to accentuate a specific area. The Snapbridge, developed by DOP Choice, therefore offers a hybrid solution that allows for this combination, while also increasing the range and coverage area.

The system is well-designed, with minimal bulk and very rapid deployment of the spiral ribs. Assembly requires no tools. Originally available with white or black fabric, the range has recently expanded with another judicious selection, corresponding to common practical applications.

We tested many combinations, too many to give a detailed account. The tool really inspires you to try different creative options. Here’s a small gallery to give you an idea of our attempts.
