It is with “pride and enthusiasm” that Loca Images, a Parisian audiovisual rental company founded in 1976, announces its admission to the French Society of Cinematographers (AFC).

For Cécile Tassemka Lonis, who heads the family business and is already a partner of the United Cinematographers Organization (UCO), this is above all a way to honor the memory of her father, Mr. Tassemka, who “(secretly) dreamed of being an associate member of the AFC.”

By choosing Caroline Champetier and Pascale Marin as sponsors, Cécile highlights her commitment to the role of women in the film industry, as well as Loca Images’ values of inclusion. While this prestigious membership opens a promising “new chapter,” the director reaffirms that “our affiliation with the UCO and the AFC community remains at the heart of our values and our identity.” Driven by a family legacy of excellence, Loca Images will be an active member contributing to the influence of French cinema.
